The docking of dogs' tails in England was banned from 6 April 2007. In Wales the ban took effect from 28 March 2007 but with exemptions for certain working dogs, and for medical treatment. The ban in Scotland took effect 30 April 2007. Follow this LINK

All our litters are very carefully planned, we do not believe in having ' accidental mating's, nor do we breed our bitches back to back, we always allow at least a year for our girls to make a full recovery between the enormous demands of pregnancy, and rearing her young.

The health and welfare of our dogs is paramount.

Our puppies are born and reared in the home, in a purpose built area where mother and young have the warmth, peace, and quiet so necessary for the initial bonding. Having worked in midwifery and neonatal medicine for a number of years, similar skills and practices are employed in the rearing of our puppies, and in the postnatal care of our bitches.

Once the pups are old enough, they are gradually integrated into the daily household routine. Our puppies meet different types of stimuli - from cats, children and adults, to travelling short journeys in the car. They are extremely well socialised, and are pretty much bomb-proof by the time they leave us for their new homes.
Our pups are Kennel Club registered, and we microchip them for their new owners. They also have the benefit of the once over from our vet for peace of mind, of course we supply comprehensive puppy packs, with food, toys, full five or eight generation pedigree, a sales contract, a general information pack and our well known unlimited help and support throughout the pups life.

We do not breed often at all, and we do have a waiting list for our puppies however, when we do have a litter they are healthy, well reared babies offered at sensible prices from healthy, heart tested parents with sound temperaments.
We also usually know where there are quality, nicely reared puppies available from like-minded responsible breeders, or puppies sired by our boys, or occasionally young Boxer adults.
